Careers at Software Toolbox

Who we are

Since 1996, Software Toolbox has empowered our customers in industries and nations around the world with off-the-shelf software products.  Our products support their efforts to be the best at what they do and in many cases change the world with what they do.  Whether it's clean water, safe food and beverage, safe medicines, clean energy, and many others, we know we are making a difference every day with our products that connect, aggregate, analyze, and deliver information.  You can learn more through some examples of how users apply our DataHub offering.

Software Toolbox continues to succeed even in these challenging times because of the dedication of our team and our commitment to helping our customers virtually. Although we have a home office in the Charlotte, NC area (Matthews), during this crisis we've shifted to remote working until it's safe to be together again, and our customers have not seen a change in their level of service and support.

  • Working virtually is in our DNA. Our company was founded in the early days of the public Internet as a way for users to find, evaluate, buy, and get support for industrial control software applications.
  • Our early growth was more international because the world was thirsting for new options and willing to try a "new virtual way" in the late 1990s.
  • We were the first supplier in our industry to offer online sales in 1997, back when the norm was to only by face-to-face.
  • Since then we've built a network of users, system integrators, and distributor partners in over 110 countries that know they can trust Software Toolbox to always be there for them.

Team members that are successful at Software Toolbox:

  • Are team players and can demonstrate how they contribute to the teams success
  • Can demonstrate their drive and self-motivation
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, specifically when discussing technical matters and reasoning through challenges and helping others
  • Enjoy helping others and the satisfaction and pride of a job well done
  • Are problem solvers and can demonstrate their logical, methodical approach to challenges through examples in life, work, or school
  • Are naturally curious and love to learn technical subjects and are self-driven to build their skills

Industrial experience is NOT required to join our team. If you have any industrial experience; our software is used in supervisory control, HMI, SCADA, MES, and production management applications to name a few, and we'd love to hear about your experience. But again it's not required as you will learn from our team what these terms mean and how we make a difference.
