Careers - Technical Applications Consultant

The Technical Applications Consultants at Software Toolbox are a vital part of helping our customers integrate our off-the shelf software solutions into their industrial control systems, and work with a global customer base in every industry; from food & beverage, to renewable energy, to water/waste water, to automotive, power & utilities, oil & gas, and manufacturing. Our customers find us because of our software and reputation and return because of our technical know-how and the high level of service our team provides.

Some are able to join our team directly in this role, depending on their education, skills, and experience. Others start as Associate Consultants and are promoted to this role after a period of time that is as much under their control instead of a set period of time. Typically this role is one achieved after a year of experience in our business.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve problems across a wide range of applications and systems; ranging from the very simple to the true head-scratchers
  • Work with our development teams, partners, and customers to reproduce, isolate, and squash those pesky software bugs when they appear
  • Have a say about what goes into new product releases and the chance to show ownership and pride in our company and product offering.
  • Consult with customers in a pre-sales technical capacity to determine the right product to use to meet their needs so they get the right results the first time.
